Hello all,

Lets get this out of the way first, we will be camping at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park this August 8th, 9th, and 10th. Because our group has grown, this will be the last time we go to Bothe-Napa park for awhile. Going forward we will try to get sites that are large enough to accommodate everyone but in the meantime please don't bring any guests not related by blood, marriage, or those designated as "honorary relatives". We may have as many as 32 people and the site only holds 25. Who knows how many we'll have once those Castellon kids start pumping out the babies! Or could there be a baby Burke soon?? (FYI, Jim just went into cardiac arrest.)

Please "bear" with me my while I go off on a rant for a minute. We get together on these trips to see each other and to catch up on things only once a year (less frequently than that for some). I strongly encourage people to hang around camp as much as possible instead of rushing off and disappearing for the better part of the day on their own outings. Before you go spend the entire day at the beach/lake/pool/wine-tasting, please remember the real reason that we meet is to come together as a group. How much fun would those old cousins church picnics have been if we didn't do things together and went our separate ways once we got there?
